To the HRC Campaign, How NOT to fudge Numbers

Thu Mar 27, 2008 at 11:13:59 AM PDT

Sometime's a quickie is a goody...

Ben Smith at Politico posted the Clinton reply to Obama's speech this morning.

Basically it's the old "he's as dirty as we are" response.  However, they included some "facts" to back up their claim.  So I decided to dig a little and found something very interesting......

The REAL Winner in these Primaries - Chuck Todd w/ Poll

Tue Mar 11, 2008 at 05:58:58 PM PDT

This election year is definately Mr. Todd's breakout year.  The suave style and demure way he handles delegate math has made Chuck Todd the true star of the 2008 Election season.  Sorry ladies, Chuck is a happily married man.  But as long as Hillary stays in the race, we will continue to enjoy the brillance that is Chuck Todd.

I was an a$$hole today AND my Senator ROCKS

Wed Mar 05, 2008 at 09:50:06 PM PDT

Wow, I was one mad SOB when I woke up this morning.  It was Rush's fault, damn them and their negative campaigning, and I was out of coffee!!!!!!  I posted some crappy and stupid things here and other places, for that I apologize.

After playing with my kids and taking a few deep breaths, I regained perspective....

The Rush Limbaugh Effect in Texas...

Wed Mar 05, 2008 at 10:01:21 AM PDT

I was going through the exit polls last night and couldn't beleive that the GOP and Independents were even between BO and HRC.  I was a few bourbons into it at this point, so thought that this was just the Makers Mark making me looney....

However I found that there might be other tinfoil haters like me this morning.,,,

New Meme - Clinton manages not to choke in Big states

Tue Mar 04, 2008 at 07:48:53 PM PDT

Blah on the rules tonight....

Gotta put my kids to bed then drink heavily and watch returns.

But Clinton has been playing the "I can win the big states" meme to death the last two months.  However, looking at the numbers, could one argue that she has managed to hold on by the skin of teeth to leads that were just 4 weeks ago, insurmountable?????

Kinda like the relief pitcher that gives up a 7 run lead in the top of the 9th, but gets the win because of a 3 run walk off in the bottom of the inning.

Let's talk about the rightwing boogey men (and women)

Wed Feb 27, 2008 at 02:43:36 PM PDT

I have two beautiful boys.  Some nights during bed time, they are scared that there are monsters that will come into their room.  At first, I took a little fairy dust (gold glitter) and sprinkled it around their beds and told them that this would keep the monsters away.  This didn't work because what if the monsters had wizards as friends and those wizards had more powerful magic than my fairies????  (this was from a 4 year old).

Then I started talking to them about monsters.  What do they look like? Why are they mean and want to come into your room at night?  Once we started talking about monsters, they weren't so scary.  Now, my boys feel a little sorry for monsters...

Banner ads and the Clinton campaign (w/ poll)

Mon Feb 25, 2008 at 09:05:50 PM PDT

This is not a long diary.  But in my unscientific survey of one, I have noticed that Obama campaign is plastering banner ads all over the Internet.  And I have seen nothing from the Clinton campaign...

HRC "loss" being blamed on gender?  Penn & Cos. best spin ever!!!

Thu Feb 21, 2008 at 12:49:51 PM PDT

Unless the the HRC completes the 100 yard hail mary pass, this is over.  The post-mortems are starting to pop up, and this one on the Huffington Post disgusts me:

Myers: What "Professionals" Came Up With Clinton's Plan?

This quote from Dee Dee Myers made be ill:

Gender, however, has proved as much a hindrance as help to Hillary, said Dee Dee Myers, the former Clinton administration press secretary. And following losses to Obama in the last ten primaries, she adds, the former first lady will have a "very difficult" time in turning her electoral fortunes around, in part because of her sex.

Today's big news: Oil futures close above $100

Tue Feb 19, 2008 at 04:17:40 PM PDT

With all the name calling, ne-ne-ne my candidate can beat up your candidate up diaries, I want to post a real problem.  It's the economy.  So as banks are being nationalized and Moody's is sell their credibility to Warren Buffett, this is the big news today (yes, bigger than the primaries)....
